As international exchanges flourish, the technical prowess of Chinese veterinarians is steadily gaining global recognition. Over the years, my work in small animal orthopedics and hip replacement surgery has led to numerous requests for collaboration from colleagues in Europe and the United States. Although my initial invitation to the Russian International Veterinary Congress was delayed by the pandemic, I have finally decided to embark on this journey in 2023. As the first Chinese practicing veterinarian invited to share academic insights on this platform, I aim to represent the professionalism and confidence of our domestic practitioners on the stage in Moscow.

Snow in Moscow and the Podium: Reflections on Lecturing at the Russian Veterinary Congress

Traveling thousands of kilometers, I arrived in Moscow carrying years of insights gathered from my work in small animal knee surgery. At the Partners Science Forum Annual Veterinary Congress, I shared Chinese clinical experiences with Russian colleagues and unexpectedly received a prestigious professional honor. As a native of Guangzhou, being in this snowy foreign land brought me not just the novelty of winter, but a profound sense of professional recognition that transcends national borders.
