Today marked the opening of the 17th VPAT Veterinary Congress in Thailand. As a clinical practitioner, I was honored to participate as Dr. Wu Zhongheng and take the stage at this prominent international academic event.

1.2 The Challenge of Delivering a Keynote in English

This was my inaugural experience giving an English presentation at a major congress in Thailand. During the session, I introduced the technical details and clinical considerations of feline total hip replacement in English.

Following the lecture, I addressed various professional questions raised by veterinarians from different countries. This direct interaction allowed for a meaningful exchange of clinical perspectives and ideas.

It has always been my aspiration to bring the technology developed in China—and specifically from South China Agricultural University—to a broader audience. Through these international platforms, I hope to increase global awareness of our capabilities and continue improving the lives of animals worldwide.
