The recent surge in serious accidents involving veterinary medical devices has cast a heavy shadow over our profession, leaving both practitioners and pet owners in a state of constant worry. Having spent years specializing in small animal hip replacements, I have personally felt the frustration and instability caused by the lack of clear industry standards. To address this, I collaborated with several leading academic and industrial institutions to help formulate China's first group standard for veterinary hip implants.
